Body Repairs

What do we wear,
To cause life's wear and tear?
We do not wear any of the hidden organs.
It is they who wear the skin and muscles.
Is the body a mount, from where blood springs?
Until the body transforms into a log of wood,
The flowing blood never gets dried up or frozen,
But gets road blockers against its flow.
The cardio specialists remove the barricades
And reset the heart in motion.
There are strokes causing collateral damage.
The cerebral specialists arrest the celebration of palsy.
The orthopedists rename knees as tyres
And turn auto mechanics, to replace the tyres,
With fresh choreography for the joints of the new knee.
Oncologists anchor our hopes against cancerous erosion.
Ophthalmologists augment the fading vision of life.
Orthodontists bring order to our teeth bound smiles
Peeping into dental roots for a painless pace.
Pulmonary experts promote breathe easy projects,
For our jittery lungs holding the breath.
Kidneys worse than Knees, struggle to revive their role
At the mercy of the Nephrologist's surgical knife.
It is the Liver that stands the litmus test against liquor
And the onslaught of several solids and liquids.
The repair of the body at various medical workshops
Ridicules at regular intervals, man's pride of permanence.

  2. Sir,no doctor can set right a part to its originality. They can only think of making money through their patients. The poor patients are the ultimate losers.
