Christmas Song December 2018

Be a pedestrian in thought and deed;
Bind yourself to the soil as its breed.
Cross friends and foes on love's lanes,
Cutting across,the hatred campaigns.

There are no missing pages in the Bible;
We miss instead,the directions infallible.
Caught in a wireless web of volatile sites,
Our wits vacillate,amidst wavering bytes.

Where qualms are billed,scruples are sold;
Miscounting of beads keeps morals untold.
Missed morals,mask the might of the mind;
Unmasked minds,meet morals,well defined.

Church and churchyard fix our life's themes;
Themes match tunes and songs to our dreams.
All tunes spring from the tolling church bells;
All songs hail from where,peace plainly dwells.
