HAPPY NEW YEAR
Years neither begin nor end.
They are marked in between,
As convenient flash points of time,
Calibrated by coefficient calendars
With notes of caution and character.
But the character of every calendar,
Is made to trespass prefixed guidelines,
By an epidemic of encroaching evil events,
Orchestrated by harmful human howlers,
And the nebulous course of nature.
Corruption,ghastly crimes and cyclones,
Consume the running passage of time,
Throwing challenges to the themes of life.
How to live,is no more a leading norm.
The way one lives,is their life's charm.
Our social websites exist at the cost of society;
Somewhere we miss the warmth,in vain variety.
The right to privacy overtakes all other rights;
Days and nights set stages for frail,new heights.
Fight to survive,is now an archaic prescription.
Fight to usurp others'rights,is an ugly addiction.
But when a crisis strikes,humanity is always one,
Raising fresh hopes on faith,as a fabric well spun.

Respected Sir, I enjoyed well from,top to bottom viz., "years.....to spun". But so much impressed IN BETWEEN the Lines of "HOW TO LIVE IS NO MORE A LEADING NORM THE WAY ONE LIVES IS THEIR LIFE'S CHARM". May HE makes many more through U Sir. Pray for that only is my comment.
