What is in a symbol that surpasses
Names of religion and politics?
We have horizontal,vertical,Crosswise
Crescent moon and many more symbols
Sporting the tunes of religious rhythms.
Politics may be bereft of principles;
But it has staple symbols,sucking emotions.
In politics,symbols devour doctrines,
Sideline structures of party foundation,
And cast aside candidates.
They captivate voters with their marks
Imprinted In the minds of the electorate.
Symbols check out literacy and education,
But electrify the electronic voting machines.
What is there in the name of party and persons,
When symbols become the surrogate mothers,
Conceiving the roots of governance?
Democracy means,of the symbol,
By the symbol and for the symbol.
Symbol surrogacy,is daring democracy.
