Being at the Tail End

Being at the tail end of life, enables age
To travel from the tail to the body,
That stood tall,stooped low,made conquests,
And met defeats in the event of mangling falls.
Ageing is seeing the body's breakthroughs
And breakdowns,through the mind's
Microscopes and binoculars.
Tickle the tail end with sticks of the past.
The tail's toss tips into veins and muscles
To reset the clock for a backward tick tick.
It juggles thoughts to wield juvenile wings.
A mug of water is at times worth a bucketful.
A peg is enough to peep into Hedonist heights.
Retrospection is not remanding oneself
Into the custody of rigorous nostalgia.
Introspection is not an act of pelting stones
Into calm waters,to cause ripples for revisiting
The troubled locations of the time stations.
It is for joining the mainstream of fresh fountains,
That energizes the tail end for a revived tenure;
Let the body,stand tall,stoop low,conquer and lose.
The tail transforms the aged body and mind
For yet another robust round of sensational
Breakthroughs and breakdowns,jostling with
Genetically modified young bodies and minds,
Tuned more to apps and devices, rather than to
Fellow feelings of reciprocating human symptoms.
