From Behind the Kennel

Who does not bark here
At some point of time or the other?
Irritation teaches us patience.
But insinuation rouses unrest.
Too much of teasing from taskmasters,
Tacitly unleashes a canine alert,
Even on a passive, paragon of peace,
To raise an active voice of revolt.
From children to the most senile,
From a proud prince to a pitiful pauper,
Barking denotes the unbound fury.
The wagging tail of a watch dog
Would wind up its warmth, once abused.
When the lines of decorum are crossed,
Rabbits too learn,to roar like lions.
Kennels become bullying battlegrounds,
Where the load of tolerance exceeds
The limit of the last straw of lambaste.
