Rejuvenation.

"The world is too much with us"
Said William Wordsworth.
"Little we see in Nature that is ours"
Said he,feeling 'forlorn'.
So right a prophet he was,to say so.
Are we too much for the world now?
Today the whole of mankind,
Faces a heaviness thrust upon it,
Taking away its limbs for a ride.
A tucked in dress might add up beauty.
But tucked in people on a lock down,
Tack, stone age cave links,to their brain.
As there is no other sensible remedy,
Lock down reigns over ruling heads.
The Sun is scourged not to be seen,
By a huge chunk of humanity.
The earth wails with undistributed weight
Of the living and the dead, locked down.
The Earth's balancing effect stays struck
On its rotating wheels, causing a downtime.
But the ecosystem echoes natural throbs.
The lungs of the atmosphere breathe afresh,
Freed from its human load of daily toxins.
The clouds are shunning distancing concepts,
Collecting densely,not being seared by
The wings of airlines of abundant hues.
Waters everywhere,are flowing in felicity,
With a feather touch glory of unadulterated
Two hydrogen and one oxygen combo.
Mammals,other than the Homo Sapiens,
Birds, reptiles and amphibians seem to enjoy
Their ephemeral race,for an uncertain space;
Even man's tomorrow is a doubt of the hour.
When man's fury, fails to rule the elements,
The flames of fire regain their sacred stuff.
Tragedies always carry their cathartic halo,
Behind their ruthless catastrophic gloom.
New wings are born, from the ashes of the phoenix.
P. Chandrasekaran.
