Whither Move the Vedas?

Where did people leave the Vedas
That they instinctively inherited?
Our ways have parted with the Vedas,to woo
The charming waves of the changing ocean of time.
Do the Vedas travel from Kasi to Rameswaram
Through the air that we breathe in and out,
Or through us who breathe in and out,the air?
The vibration of the air is the voice of the Vedas,
Connecting all men of a religion, through a concord.
But the vibrating Vedas die in our discordant notes
Barking caste tunes with coloured visuals.
Today, people sell the Vedas on a competitive pitch,
Without attracting GST ad velorem, for their service.
In a temple where I go off and on,the priests fight for
Their share of offerings of money just in front of me,
But sadly more, straight in front of the deity,
At whom they stammer the Vedas half learnt
Or left half way,in their greedy clamour for money.
The vibration of the Vedas vests with the soul.
Where there is no soul, the Vedas fail to travel,
Be it from Kasi or Rameswaram, flooded with rites.
The mouth disconnects the sanctity of the Vedas
From their vibration,by its unutterable utterances,
That abuse the Vedas, along with the souls of the dead.
Religion is the elixir that sustains, when everything fails.
When the Vedas fail, waste shrouds a section of the race.
Where the Vedas truly take the souls closer to God,
They travel through the air we breathe in and out
And with us,who breathe in and out the air,
Filled with the fragrance of the Vedas all the way,
From Kasi to Rameswaram, flooded with rites.
