Greeting,in Retrospect

                  Happy New Year

To meet and greet,was once the way of life;

To greet from your seat is now right and rife.

Homes were once running hectic,with guests;

People are now sceptics,about crowded nests.

Home sweet home,was then a prevailing treat;

Work from home,is now the norm tying the feet.

When people were moving,our days were mobile;

With mobiles and blue tooth,our routine is fragile.

Then human touch kept our body and mind intact.

Today body and mind,do the touch screens, distract.

Towns and villages that bustled with buoyant vigour

Are knocked down by networks' night and day trigger.

All said and done,we have the best of benefits to stay;

Many exits are there,against the wobbles on our way.

Global gamuts flash before each one's mind frame,

Greeting us with gateways,to win over many a game.

     May the year 2023,buckle the good and bring in,THE BEST.
