Between the oil lamps
And the electric lights,
There is a drive,stuck as hope.
Energy is an endearing inside.
What is invisible,is what is invincible.
The sparks and the sounds of streets,
Reflect the spirit of the homes,
Sending flashes of faith to the skies.
Lights display the fall of fouling evil.
The crates of sweets and crackers,
Create crystals of carnival glory.
Celebration is more than a sensation.
The crux of it,is in the goodness of things
Glued to the guarding glow of God,
Who builds a world of light,on a blight.
