The Raid..

Desire raids honesty,
With a lure for riches.
Hatred raids love,
With the wear and tear of time,
On the battle ground of estrangement.
Cousins of corruption raid one another,
Tabling a one point usurping agenda.
The ruling ranger raids the opposition,
To settle scores on terms of vendetta.
The opposition raids the ruling class,
Raising issues of no governance.
Raids at times are also part of
The radical drama to make inroads.
A raid is certainly a breakthrough,
If it is rooted to cleansing and remediation.
If not, it just becomes yet another breaking news,
Driving the tentacles of power for a witch hunt.
Remember,most of our systems and guys are raid proof.
Each raid says "give an extra time of enjoyment
To media moguls and their mindless targets"
After all, raids are promoted as a package of power points.
