To bell the cat is near impossible.
To tell the truth is a tough deal too.
To straighten a dog's tail is a day dream.
So is the move to correct crooked thoughts.
Truth's box office hits are accidental,
Like a child prodigy's pocket full of brains.
Even the Mahatma did inerasably confess
To have done, only his experiments with Truth.
All experiments do not become inventions.
Neither all inventions are true to the core,
Because the invention of firm falsehood
Is claimed to be fait accompli by its inventor.
If the mind becomes the face for a farce,
Many a face becomes awfully unlookable.
When the face itself is acclaimed to be a veil
Where is the need for a mask to fight disease?
Wherever truth prevails,it remains unsaid
Battling like the dog's tail, not to be straight.
To tell the truth is as tough as to bell the cat
Though wisdom always wails, smelling a rat.
P.Chandrasekaran.
