The ever boiling broth.

    Politics is the most captivating catering division.'Catering'because it caters to the promotion of wealth of participants,rather than ideologies.'Division' because,politics is perfectly divisive and divided.Only in politics yesterday's enemies turn today's friends and yesterday's heroes become today's villains and vice versa.Politics is an ever boiling soup because its boiling temperature is either constantly intact,or grows higher in tune with the changing equations.It keeps on boiling all the time,only to keep the public in a soup.

  The boiling broth is made up of overwhelming promises of benefits and freebies. When the government's coffers are crying for want of funds, the chests of political parties and the pockets of politicians seem to be swelling with the flow of currencies, the source of which is known only to the source and its beneficiary.

   Politics is brimming with schemes and scams.To say'scheming',would be more appropriate,than'schemes'.Not a single day passes without scheming, as to how to be offensive rather than defensive.Digging old corruption stories,launching tax raid shows and slinging muddy aspersions and canards against political opponents, would be on the top most agenda. Language,religion,caste and cow are dramatic delicacies added on a regular baisis,to make the political soup,spicy and delicious.

   Politics is a redemption game.It absolves the crimes and corruption history of any individual or group,the moment they join the offensive side. The offenders have the holy waters ready to sprinkle on the new arrivals and trigger the process of initiation. Once this is over, the newcomers are vested with more important positions than the longterm loyalists, because the political markets like the stock exchange, cannot miss the ups and downs chart.

 The political broth promptly mixes past history with the present, choosing ingredients that suit its taste and throwing away any unwanted spice,however native and original it could be.After all,only the chef knows his priorities as to what to add and what to drop,in order to make the broth sumptuous.As the proverbial saying goes,the proof of the pudding is in its making.

  The political soup may have more of GST and less of GDP.But it rejoices over the gains of GST at the cost of GDP.New varieties of political soups are made up of social network recipes more popular and trendy,as takeaways of the new generation political pundits.These new recipes revolve around enhancing the logistics targets and goals of one brand of product,by undermining the product promotion scope of its rivals.

  During election times the political soup boils at a very high temperature because the political market booms with crowds collecting/collected everywhere,not to buy,but to sell themselves at a competitive price.Be it the second or third wave of a pandemic, active crowds outnumber active cases of COVID,because the political soup is luring the crowds closer,to spread and boom faster, than the formidable virus widening its wield. Since many poiticians already have their true faces hidden, anti viral masks are found to be redundant.

  With festoons flourishing every where,each stakeholder outcries the other,to overtake the electoral speed. Very often microphones shudder at the proximity and noise of  the voices. Turncoats talk ill of their previous political outfits more vociferously than their new outfit's chronic warlords.If they do not wag their tail at least to this extent,their purpose of changing sides,would not profit. More and more dirty linens are washed in the streets,to make the job much more difficult for the sanitary staff.

  Meanwhile,bundles of currencies travel day and night in different modes,changing hands,while a negligible portion of it is being seized on the way,by the very alert check points.In the midst of all these vagaries and vanities,the political soup keeps on boiling over its hot bubbles that burst,with falsehood as its fire and freebies and concessions offered to the gullible lot,as promises from the poll pot/plot.Thus the ever boiling broth of politics,always remains the hot spot of corruption,conflict and connivance.
