Transition Takeaways.

There were times in our distant past,

When the home brought the world within.

Family was then a capsule of society.

Family functions were always meant for

Flexing up the mighty muscles of love,

To push events,without event agents'shove.

Now things are either totally upside down

Or have taken a U turn without the'We'breadth.

Social distancing has actually preceded Corona.

Vertical towers have weakened the bandwidth,

To which the arms of affection could actively spread.

The eyes look up in awe, losing their vision's thread.

Language has lost several letters of the alphabet,

Giving a leeway to one letter,to represent many.

It is like the corporates cuting down the load of labour.

The brain is now like a banian tree, strong and stout,

With teeming intelligence,clicking a needle,to cue

What hefty tools like crowbar and pickaxe could do.

Exchange of emotions is now an extra terrestrial affair.

Friends meet to share their views over a peg or two,

On the megabytes of stock exchange bulls & bears

And their bulk of career pride, without its kernal side.

In between goes unsaid or unheard, all the creamy core

Of the rhythms of the mind and their meanings in store.
