Themes and Memes

If someone hits and runs,
Others run and hit the hitter.
Scuffles and ruffles are not new;
But they draw new dimensions 
From contexts of unknown hues.
A disease draconian has come here,
To let out a load of rage and rifts.
Hidden throes leave their hideouts,
Spinning suicides,homicides,
Co-morbid causalities in hospitals,
And custodial deaths,behind the curtain.
A couple of cops turn con men;
The common man conjures up justice.
Celebrities make their presence felt,
By condemning acts fit for condemnation.
While many take law into their hands,
Law takes its own usual course.
There is no let up in the lurking lowdowns,
Leave alone the rigmarole lockdowns. 
The employed languish at home;
The unemployed crowd the streets.
Closed theatres pose their vacant looks
As fully shot films,fail to fill the bill.
Disease is a serial killer of serials.
The stench of sanitizers sticks to rule.
Masked customers see through their eyes
But pay through their nose for everything.
While the routine has lost its hold,
Politics holds its routine,by force of habit.

Transport is tilting on its routes,in tandem.

Statistics is the set top box for simulations.
With frequent stints of our daily handwash,
Gods seem to have washed us off their hands.
There are many stories without themes,
Because themes exist in an influx of memes,
Filling the huge gaps between life and living.
There is life;but are we living it as usual ?
