A firm,founding pillar of the AUT,
Who as a sterling leader,stood stout.
With his governing head meekly bald,
His words and deeds kept us enthralled.
Sloganeering was never his forte;
But words to inspire,he learnt by rote.
He would adeptly address his flock,
With his truly vocal,emotional stock,
His words would always cleanly sweep
The gathering,with ideas dear and deep.
A committed teacher he was,who wooed
The cause of his tribe,that was subdued.
Frank,forthright and forceful in mood,
He was a sweet symbol of brotherhood.
