அலறலுக்கு சத்தமுண்டு;

சத்தத்திற்கு அர்த்தமுண்டு.

பஞ்சாங்கம் பார்த்து

அரசாங்கம் நடத்துவோர்க்கு,

இராப் பிச்சைக்காரனின்

ரண ஒலிகேட்காது.

பற்றியெரிவது வயிறோ

பாமரன் உயிரோ? 

அதைப்பற்றி அறிவது,

புத்தியோ லத்தியோ?

சத்தியம் துறந்தோர்க்கு

சாத்திரங்கள் துணையாமோ!.

பச்சாதாபம் பார்ப்பதில்லை;

ஆடைகள் களைந்திடும்

அரக்கர்கள் மத்தியில்,

அலறிடும் குரல்கள்

பெண்மையோ,தாய்மையோ?

சிதைந்திடும் அலறலில்!.

அறமறியா அதிகாரம்

அடித்திடும் வெப்பத்தில்,

சுருண்டிடும் உடல்கள்.

நாடாளும் நடைமுறைகள்

கோடாரிக் கொம்பெடுக்க,

கேடாகும் மக்கள்நலம்.

உளறல்கள் பலவாகி

ஊரெரியும் கலவரத்தில்,

உறைந்திடும் அலறல்கள்.

காசிமட்டும் நன்றானால்,

தேசமெலாம் நன்றாமோ?

வந்தேபாரத் வண்டிவர,

நொந்தமக்கள் அலறல்கள்

எட்டுதிசை எட்டிடுமோ?

பட்டவலி பறந்திடுமோ?

The Manipur mess.

Violence zooms as the crudest shady lens,

To strip its victims,slapping good sense.

Ruckus does not breed without any root

Once spread,it grows many heads,to loot.

If one does not dress their thoughts well,

Undressing the weak,prospects rotten hell.

When men in power are subject to a mania

It pushes civic sense into a spell of insomnia.   

Democracy today is facing a dreaded disease;

Harms are let loose,to trouble the targets and tease.

Rule of law is triggered to break its  pet pattern 

To keep justice in the dark,blowing off its lantern.

Pick and parade bodies,is born of very cheap taste,

That reflects humanity as a heap of colossal waste.

Oh my dear,dreaded,common civil code,

Can a country like India,ever you, afford?

A common code is good,so long it is 'civil'

What if,the code transforms into a devil?.

Law of any land is said to be common to all

But sometimes,laws turn uncommon,for a fall.

Prejudices of governance perpetuate injustice

Letting law experts question,what justice is.

Many laws exist here to protect citizens'rights;

But with latent flaws in verdicts,justice bites.

In the gist of justice,fairness at all levels should prevail;

With no discrimination among people,no laws fail.

Unless there is well established faith in uniformity,

Uniform civil code is bound to lose its range of legality.
