The Stepthoughts

Step by step the thoughts grow.
    Vertical thoughts get stunted,
    By the horizontal howlers,
    Like stepmothers wrong treating kids,
They did not beget nor willing to bring up.
    Lateral thoughts widen the network
At the cost of specific thought goals.
    Cyclic  thoughts lead nowhere
Culminating ever to the current location.
The mind should be a ladder
For thoughts stepping up to the peak
To see face to face what it needs to see,
    Cutting across petty interventions.
Where thoughts do not get stepped up,
The mind is deformed to a funeral cart
Denying to be vertical for the framed time slot
    And pulling steps drastically down
    Before gaining the ground realities.
It is like digging the grave much ahead
Of the day, set for the last journey.

Language Thoughts.

Language is not a load of thoughts;
It is a game of words targeting ideas,
Trendily, to the victory stand.
The language you speak, grows great,
The way you use it,its beauty to state.
What is said, can never be unsaid.
But what remains untold, can always be told.
Measure the meaning and reach of
What is being said, to make it well said.
Language makes the universe shrink and expand,
Like the moon waning and waxing in a geometric galaxy.
The roads might be racy and ritzy, or rough and battered,
For exciting exits or exclusive entries,
With zebra crossings or zero markings,
With traffic beats and signals, or no streetlights.
They may be easy to deal with or difficult to manage,
Like a jamboree of children in their mixed manners.
You can simply cross them or struggle to navigate,
With your talking GPS often misguiding.
You can choose to travel along the streets and roads,
With your flair for trekking or passion for travelling,
That gets your travel going, as great it shall be.
So are the roads to your preferred language too;
Using the roads shows them, the manner you woo.

Being Grand.

Being grand is being able to stand apart,
Making a monumental presence in between others.
Not as the lion that stands apart from the other beasts,
Not as matinee idols and men in power,
Manipulating their mega myth ivory towers
Not as world wonders winning their acclaimed attraction,
Not even as God who stands apart from the humans,
Radiating divinely in His exclusive Sanctum Sanctorum,
But as parents and children, with their grand prefixes.
Grand parents may be at the mercy of their children to turn grand;
But grand children have their self declared positions,
By granting grandeur to their parents' parents.
The incessant gift of love, binds two alternate generations
Together, to travel to destinations grander than all that is grand.

Reading in Between.

Can we read one's mind through their pair of eyes?
At times, eyes speak out the mind like melting ice.
But when we read in between the speaking eyes,
It looks as if, they list out the mind's line of lies.
When words fail to forward messages on a tight rope .
By reading in between, we pluck the roots of hope,
To slip faith on a desperate downgrade slope.
From our first fall till the final, horizontal still,
It is the boggling facts of life that fill the bill.
We understand most often to misunderstand,
Framing all human relationships into a fixed brand.
We play our words safe to pick holes in what others say,
By reading in between, closed expressions in an open way.
A straight deal with the eyes and words, ever steals the sway.

பருக்கையே பதமென்பர், பெரும்பானைச்  சோற்றுக்கு;

புரிந்தவர்க்கே புலப்படுமாம், பதிப்புரிமைப் பலனாக ;
